To be covered under warranty, all orders for 9' high windscreens must include anti-billow tabs. Standard stock sizes for same day shipping for 275W and 3017W are 6' x 20', 6' x 50', 6' x 55', 6' x 60'. 20% surcharge on single pieces 540 square feet or more. All windscreens, except Pro Screen 278W, are standard color dark green. Wilson Covers for Sports Facilities

The three areas most likely to benefit from protective covers are athletic fields, gym floors and tennis courts. These covers provide protection against weather and physical abuse and are available in different grades that offer a choice in price and durability.

Athletic Field Covers

The primary selection is between coated polyethylene at $.23/SF and vinyl covers that range from $.53 to $.67/SF. Most athletic field covers used at schools, universities and public recreation are coated polyethylene. Vinyl covers are usually restricted to professional sports facilities.
The vinyl covers are graded by weight and method of construction. The weight is measured in ounces per square yard and is very important criterion depending on the size of the cover and level of durability required. Generally, one should try to use the lightest weight practical for the application. This keeps the price reasonable, and handling effort is reduced.
The primary difference between vinyl-laminated fabric and vinyl-coated fabric are that the laminates are all fire retardant and the coated fabrics generally provide a more durable material for the same weight per ounce. Field covers all have waterproof sealed seams and are hemmed on the edges. Grommets for fastening and handles are optional. Covers are usually folded and rolled around large aluminum tubes for ease of handling at the facility. We will advise all customers where they may purchase the handling tubes, separately.

Gym Floor Covers

The purpose of a gym floor cover is to allow alternative use of the large open space available in the gym while providing protection to the flooring from chairs, heels, spills and other unavoidable hazards. The covers are made from fire retardant vinyl laminate and available in three grades and prices. All covers have waterproof sealed seams and flat, nonraveling edges. This is to provide the smoothest fit with the floor and allow for taping at all edges. Handles are optional and placed every ten feet along the narrow edge.
Depending on the size and weight of each section, the cover may be folded or rolled onto cores. These would then be stacked on carts for handling.

Tennis Court Covers

The most practical way to protect court surfaces is with a curable coated, high density polyethylene fabric. The fabric is constructed of woven tapes and coated on each side to a thickness of 12 mils and weight of 7 ounces per square yard. The cover is constructed with waterproof sealed seams and hemmed on the edge. Depending on the need, grommets for fastening are optional. Each court cover is fabricated in two sections for proper installation. Covers may be taped to hard courts or fastened to soft courts with spikes.

THIS WARRANTY IS AGAINST DEFECTS IN MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP UNDER NORMAL USE, NOT INCLUDING ABUSE OR VANDALISM. ROCKY MOUNTAIN SPORTS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REPAIR AT NO CHARGE OR REPLACE AN ITEM AT A PRO-RATA PRICE. CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FREIGHT COSTS.

Rocky Mountain Sports will not process any order for a made to order item without a written order signed by authorized personnel. Made to order items are:
Windscreen 267W, 269W, 275W, 276W, 278W, 289W. Divider Curtain 282W, 284W, 286W, 287W, 288W, 290W, and all screen printing orders.
